Growing Community: Perfect Little Plants

​​​​​​​Join ACM’s Growing Community at Martha’s Table Healthy Happy Hour, a free weekly community gathering that brings neighbors together for connection and wellness. Stop by the Commons to enjoy refreshing healthy mocktails, nutritious snacks, music, gardening activities, and hands-on wellness activities for all ages.

Discover the best plants for tough spaces—windowsills, desktops, balconies, and front stoops. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore low-maintenance, high-impact plants that thrive with minimal care, whether you have a large outdoor space or none at all.

Participants will create a combination planter featuring 2–3 complementary plants, thoughtfully paired for texture and visual interest, including both flowering and non-flowering varieties. Along the way, we’ll cover the essentials for plant success; proper light exposure, watering techniques, placement, and why plants sometimes don’t thrive, so you can grow with confidence at home.
