Growing & Thriving: Free Plant Workshop for Adults 60+

Spend an afternoon surrounded by the beauty of plants—and bring a little of that beauty home! Milwaukee-area residents 60 and older, plus one guest, are invited to join us for a FREE Growing & Thriving workshop.
With Interpretive Educator Pete Stobie, you’ll explore the history of the Domes and our world-class plant collection, learn hands-on houseplant skills, and enjoy a dome tour. We’ll cover watering, humidity, soil, repotting, light requirements, and more.
The best part? You’ll choose a plant from the gift shop, repot it in a beautiful handmade pot, and take it home with care instructions to keep it thriving.
This free workshop is made possible by the generous support of Bader Philanthropies.
Pre-registration is required. Bringing a guest? Please register them, too. Participation is limited to one Growing & Thriving workshop per person, per calendar year.
