At Grow the Garden Day on Sunday 28 June 10am to noon we are working along the freeway fence line near the large Melton Botanic Garden sign.
We suggest arriving a little earlier to sign in etc. If you would like to help load up please arrive at 9.30am. The depot will be open from around 9.15am.
Meet and sign-in at the MBG Depot and Plant Nursery, 21 Williams St near the corner of Williams Street and Tullidge Street before going to the work area.
Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and closed-in footwear for gardening which includes long pants .
Please bring your own gardening gloves and try to wear your own hi-vis top. Safety glasses or ASA approved eye protection is required for this activity. We have safety glasses for participants to borrow at the worksite.
Please bring your own water bottle.
We will have morning tea near the Small Lake after we have finished working.
