Get ready for the 5th annual Grow GatHERing! This event is designed especially for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls and is packed with interactive workshops, fun activities, connection, and opportunities to grow.
This years event is designed to help girls build confidence, strengthen healthy habits, understand their brains, develop supportive relationships, and feel prepared for the challenges ahead.

9:00–9:40 AM Opening Activity with High School Mentors & Opening Speaker
9:45–10:10 AM Breakout Session A
10:15–10:40 AM Breakout Session B
10:45 AM - 11:00 AM Movement Break!
11:05 AM – 11:35 AM Breakout Session C — Grade-Specific
11:40 AM–12:15 PM Lunch and Giveaways!
12:15–12:45 PM Interactive Closing Activity

An interactive session that helps girls explore what they need to grow, thrive, and protect their well-being through a flower art activity.
Building Your Self Care Cart
How do you do self care? Uncover new ways to fill your time with healthy habits and coping skills that you will actually enjoy!
Nourish to Flourish
Discover ways to support your body and well-being while making delicious snacks.
Brains in Bloom
Learn how your brain works, how habits develop, and how reward systems can influence our choices.
Leap Into High School
An 8th grade-specific session focused on preparing for the transition to high school and what to expect along the way.
Grow Together - For Parents & Guardians
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Parents and guardians - this part is for you!
Grow Together is a dedicated parent education session happening during the second half of the Grow GatHERing. While your student continues participating in the event, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about what today's middle schoolers are navigating and how you can support them.
The session will cover current substance use trends, peer influence, and other challenges young people may encounter. You will learn about practical strategies for recognizing concerns and starting conversations with your child.
Your student will continue participating in Grow GatHERing programming while you participate in Grow Together.
Parents will rejoin their middle schoolers at 12:45 pm to finish out the day with makers stations, allowing participants to create something to spark joy for someone else!
