Group Photo Walk

Practice your photography in a fun group setting! We will walk around downtown to practice our photography as a group. It's a good opportunity to try out street, architecture, portrait, abstract, and other types of photography.

We will explore Stephen Avenue and 17th Avenue to capture the city during its liveliest time, the Calgary Stampede!

All levels are welcome and mobile phone cameras are perfectly fine if you don't own a DSLR or mirrorless camera.

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Meet up location is at Alcove Centre for the Arts, just across the corner from 3rd St Station. Feel free to wait inside and enjoy some free tea.

*Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

The Alcove Centre for the Arts (alcoveartscentre.ca) is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry.
