It has the most beautiful scenery in the land, with its bewitching mix of rugged mountains, deep gylls, shimmering lakes, bouncing waterfalls and attractive stone-built villages. Our solos guided walking holiday introduces you to this spectacular countryside.
Our guided walking for solos programme is designed to give the walker the best of this Lake District countryside – and we have chosen some fabulous walks for you – walking in the natural beauty of this superb National Park.
We walk on the first afternoon, then four more days. We have a packed lunch. This holiday is run by local guides who have a vast knowledge of this beautiful area. We stay at the Glen Rothay hotel close to Rydal Water and Grasmere.
On this holiday you buy your own dinners – so the choice of price and diet is yours. We do eat as a group, sharing experiences of the day and other holidays.
Walking is moderate, some ascending and descending – there are hills and valleys to explore after all, and you should be walking fit.
We pride ourselves on how we create a social feel. We organise everything for you – from the minute you arrive to when you depart.
The holiday cost is £795 with no extra single supplements, which includes your own en-suite room.
