Our 10 week Birth Class will give you all of the above and so much more! Our classes are an innovative, holistic approach to birth preparation that is very different from any hospital childbirth class. It is designed to build the confidence of both pregnant folks and their partners by incorporating both information and physical preparation for labor/birth/postpartum/parenting, along with mental and emotional preparation.
The 10 Week Class is also completely comprehensive and includes topics such as nutrition, early parenting, postpartum, in addition to all the labor/birth preparation. After participating in our 10 Week Birth Class, people report feeling not only well-informed, but also calm, confident and prepared for their upcoming birth and postpartum.
Our Birth Class is designed for people birthing in different locations: hospital, birth center or at home. Anyone can take our class, whether expecting their first child or if they’ve given birth previously (vaginal or cesarean). Many people have taken BirthWorks classes in preparation for a VBAC, and the VBAC success rate for our class participants is 90-95%. Those who experienced a previous negative birth find our class to be a vital of part of their healing, in addition to preparing them for their upcoming birth.
Our 10 Week Class also includes a comprehensive, evidence-based breastfeeding/infant feeding class the 10th week. The class is designed to equip both first-time and seasoned parents with confidence to achieve their feeding goals (whether exclusive breastfeeding, combo feeding, pumping, etc).
COST: $499 per couple (if you do not have partner/spouse, we encourage you to bring a trusted support person with you to class!)
$50 due at time of registration
