his summer, Berkshire Botanical Garden will showcase the impressionistic paintings of award-winning New York artist and author Adam Van Doren, whose work explores the relationship between historic architecture and the natural landscape.
Opening Reception: Friday, June 5, 5 to 7 p.m.
Exhibition Hours — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, daily.
In conjunction with the exhibition:
• Friday, July 24, 5:30–7 p.m. — Slide talk, American in Nature: Reflections on the Art of Watercolor, by Mark Mitchell (the Holcombe T. Green Curator of American Painting and Sculpture at The Yale University Art Gallery), followed by a reception.
• Saturday, July 25, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. — Watercolor Master Class with Adam Van Doren. Registration required.
