Grounded Equine Yoga
60 minutes | Small Group Experience
A deeply grounding, sensory-based experience designed to reconnect you to breath, body, and presence—alongside the quiet wisdom of the horse. Through guided movement, intentional breathwork, and mindful interaction, you’ll cultivate trust, emotional awareness, and a sense of calm that extends beyond the mat. This experience is beginner-friendly (no prior yoga experience and no prior horse experience is required). Two participants per horse partner. Class is limited to 8 participants (4 horse partners).
Structure of a typical session:
1. Safety and Information: Participants will learn safety protocols and the benefits of co-regulation with horses.
2. Grounding and Introduction: Participants meet the horses, learn to breathe calmly, and establish comfort and trust.
3. Equine Connection: Gentle grooming or touch exercises reinforce mutual relaxation and safety.
4. Ground-Based Practice: Yoga postures (asanas) are performed standing near the horse to build awareness and harmony.
5. Closing Meditation: The session ends with stillness, gratitude, and breathwork alongside our horse partners.
Participants must be 16 years or older or 12 years or older if accompanied by an adult. Closed toe shoes are required. No mat is needed. Please bring water.
Investment:
$70 for a single group session (minimum number of participants is 3)
$120.00 for couple/partner/bring a friend (both people must be registered for the same class)
