Join us for a free performance supporting the mission of the Jazz Education Community Coalition in creating a community-based artistic network available to all young people interested in learning jazz.
This event is organized by Nicole Yarling, a South Florida-based violinist, vocalist, composer, and lecturer at the Frost School of Music. Nicole is a dedicated mentor and educator, and is the founder of the Jazz Education Community Coalition (JECC), curator for the South Beach Jazz Festival Student Stage, and Educational Director for the Gold Coast Jazz Society’s First Friday Jam. Inducted into the South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame in 2016 and named a 2015 JJA Jazz Hero, Nicole continues to build community through music, education, and advocacy for young artists.
