About Kathy Iandoli:
Kathy Iandoli is a critically acclaimed, award-winning hip-hop journalist and author of God Save the Queens: The Essential History of Women in Hip-Hop, Baby Girl: Better Known As Aaliyah, co-author of Eve's forthcoming memoir Who's That Girl? and co-author of Lil’ Kim’s forthcoming memoir The Queen Bee. She’s written for numerous publications including Billboard, PAPER, XXL, Teen Vogue, VIBE, The Village Voice, Rolling Stone, and many others. Kathy is also a documentarian, co-producing the docu-series Ladies First for Netflix and First Ladies of Hip Hop for The BBC. Ladies First was nominated for both a Critics Choice Documentary Award and an NAACP Image Award. A Professor of Music Business at New York University, Kathy routinely serves as a panelist and on-air pundit for discussions on hip-hop and gender, as well as a renowned media coach to the biggest names in hip-hop. She lives in the New York metropolitan area.
