Through the art of Bharatanatyam, the performance explores the emotional tapestry of summer, evoking themes of hardship, conservation, wild fearlessness, and wisdom. Performed by Dr. Apoorva Jayaraman, an acclaimed Bharatanatyam artiste and recipient of the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (2023–24), the evening seamlessly weaves together tradition and contemporary perspectives. A scholar and performer, Dr. Jayaraman is deeply committed to both the practice and academic study of classical arts.
