If you’re a climber in the Midwest, then Grip Fest is for you!Grip Fest is a community based climbing shoe festival that puts all the best climbing shoe brands under one roof for one day only! We invite members and non-members alike to explore and test out climbing shoes and other amazing products in the industry. Get personalized outfitting from our trained staff and learn about proper sizing and fit from brand experts so you can find the right shoe for you! You’ll have the option to test out climbing shoes from every climbing shoe brand all day long. If you’ve been thinking about getting a new pair of climbing shoes then Grip Fest is for you!

We will be offering a one day only 25% OFF SALE on ALL climbing shoes in our store as well as all Special Orders placed during Grip Fest. Plus check out other deals on climbing shoes, crash pads, hangboards, and other climbing products throughout our store Roam & Stow. We will also be offering 20% off all apparel, a $15 grab bin apparel selection and Final Few clearance apparel.
If your climbing shoes have holes, then bring them to Grip Fest to get resoled! Our store will be partnering with Yosemite Bum Resole & Rhythm Resole to offer resole services at Grip Fest. Whether your shoes have holes or you just want more information stop by the booth at Grip Fest to learn more.
Test your strength at our Grip Strength Competition hosted by Indy's own Circle City Climbing Team. Compete to see if you have the strongest hands and maybe win yourself an epic prize!
Climb on the spray wall and demo the fun “Vertical Scramble” climbing game with your friends.
Athletico will be onsite providing free injury assessments.
Compete in our annual Grip Fest Board Comp and showcase your strength to win over $3,200 in cash prizes! This is a serious comp for heavy hitters who live on systems boards—if you train on Kilter, Tension, or anything with LEDs and a sadistic setter, this is your arena. We're throwing a knockout-style flash bracket comp on BOTH the Kilter Board and the Tension Board 2—no gimmicks, no partners, just you, your skin. Come for the glory, compete for the cash.
This year's competition will incorporate both the Kilter Board and our brand new Tension Board 2. The competition will feature two divisions consisting of Mens and Womens. The competition will last from 1pm - 4pm. There is a non refundable $30 per person buy-in that goes towards the cash prize, and every competitor will receive 2 free raffle tickets. We will be giving away $1,000 to the first place winner with additional cash payouts going to 2nd and 3rd place of each division.
The NMB Setting Team will be creating some fun and unique routes just for Grip Fest including buddy boulders, dyno wall, rope swings, racing boulders, and more!
