Griot’s Garden Open Mic + Showcase Experience

Experience an unforgettable evening of art, poetry, and soulful connections at Griot's Garden Open Mic & Showcase, hosted by the captivating PoeticSoulQueen. On March 19th, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM), join us at Mulberry Art Studio in Lancaster, PA, for a night that celebrates creativity and community.

The event features poet, educator, published author, Lady Sarkazym from Philly and poet/published author, Ladi Glori from Baltimore in a powerful women led showcase for International Women's History Month with a musical performance from a special guest. Groove to the sounds DJ GiGi, explore a pop-up by A Concrete Rose showcasing a curated selection for sale and a mocktail bar, and witness live art by Keisha Finnie, with her creations on exhibit and merchandise available for purchase. Indulge in delicious food provided by Our Momma’s Kitchen, also available for purchase.

Open mic sign-ups begin at 6:30 PM, so bring your voice and share your talent. There will be limited slots available. We highly recommend getting there early to secure your spot on the list.

Open Mic Participation:

• Performers must sign up during the designated time before the event. Slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Each performer will have a maximum of 5 mins on stage. Please respect the time limit to ensure all participants get their opportunity.

• This is a respectful and inclusive space. Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
• Attendees must follow the host's instructions and maintain a positive, supportive environment for performers and guests.
