We’ve booked sunshine and a BBQ for August 22nd starting at 12 noon.
We’re offering the public a chance to try tennis or pickleball or even table tennis out at our fantastic club and to mingle with you all to create a great social environment. Tell your friends and family.
The bar will be open for drinks and refreshments. Please bring cash!!
For members we are also hosting Americano Styled Pickleball & Tennis Tournaments.
An Americano Style Tournament is where everyone gets to play with everybody else that’s drawn in their ‘league’
Scores are compiled and added together right across all the games to produce a play off event and an overall winner. 🥇
The games are played for a preset duration and points awarded for each single play. Services are alternated. Scoring this way creates the need to look for winners and to really crack on with the points and games. It’s quite a mathematical challenge if there’s an odd amount but this is where AI comes in and will hopefully help out!!
Each player is allotted a number & they keep that number for the duration of the tournament. Literally if there are 8 players in each mini league you will be paired with every player at some point. The length of the games will be decided prior to starting and again driven by the amount of entrants and the overall duration we wish to play for. It’s gotta be fun, frantic & frenzied!! Get on it. Have some fun and bring your ‘A’ game.
