Griffin of Valor and Flower of Chivalry Tournament XXXXII

Hear ye! Hear ye! Attend these words, and then attend the Griffin & Rose Tourney XXXXII.
In April A.S. LVII, Their Excellencies, Frithuric Ullman and Fiorre Leonetta Bardi, Barone and Baronnessa of Carolingia, requested a monthly tournament where worthies could prove themselves in knightly combat and comportment. Since then, we have held the Torneo del Grifone del Valore e del Fiore della Cavalleria (The Griffin of Valor and Flower of Chivalry Tournament) monthly, and entrants have engaged their fellows to prove they excelled in prowess and chivalry.
This tradition of monthly Heavy-List tournaments is now in its fourth year, and held (typically) on the SECOND Wednesday of each month.
This will be the forty-second monthly Griffin and Flower tournament.
If you would participate, then on October 14, bring your kit and credentials (proof of authorization---if you have it) and also your Honor, Courtesy, and Competitive Spirit to the Framingham Practice site to try your mettle and honor your worthy opponents.

DETAILS:
If you have equipment and experience enough to participate safely, you may enter this tournament.
On the day of the event, plan to
- check into the list (with auth card and waiver),
- sign the book kept of Griffin and Rose events,
- have your kit inspected by a marshal, and
- engage your opponents with intensity and utmost courtesy.
The Barone/Baroness and Marshal determine the format on the day of the tournament, based on the number of combatants. Typically we typically choose one of these:
- double elimination (for multiples of 8),
- round robin (for smaller numbers not divisible by 8), or
- Atlantian Speed Tourney (for larger numbers not divisible by 8).
Check your kit, make your preparations, and join us for this month's Griffin and Flower tournament. We look forward to seeing you there.
