Grief and Yoga Workshop at Maitri Center for Mindful Living
About this Event
Grief is part of being human, and it comes to us in many forms.
We may be grieving a person or animal we love, a relationship, a transition, a changing body, a place we have left, the state of the world, or a life we thought we would be living.
Whatever you are grieving, you are welcome here.
This three-hour gathering is an invitation to slow down and gently make room for what we carry. Through accessible yoga and mindful movement, meditation, breath, journaling, quiet reflection, and shared presence, we will explore ways of being alongside grief without needing to fix it or make it disappear.
No yoga or meditation experience is needed. Everything will be offered with choice. You are welcome to move, rest, listen, write, or simply be present. There is no right way to grieve. There is no timeline you need to follow. Come as you are.
