Join us at Cabernet Steakhouse on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, for an unforgettable five-course wine dinner celebrating one of Napa Valley’s most legendary estates — Grgich Hills Estate.
Founded in 1977 by renowned winemaker Miljenko “Mike” Grgich and Austin Hills, Grgich Hills has built an extraordinary reputation for producing elegant, balanced and age-worthy Napa Valley wines.
But the Grgich story began before the winery itself.
In 1976, Mike Grgich made history when the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay he crafted was selected as the top white wine at the legendary Judgment of Paris, triumphing over prestigious French Burgundies and helping forever change the world’s perception of California wine.
On this special evening, we’ll celebrate that remarkable legacy through an exceptional selection of Grgich Hills wines paired with a five-course dinner curated by Executive Chef Richard Holley.
🍇 THE WINES
Sauvignon Blanc
Bright, refreshing and aromatic, showcasing the vibrant acidity and freshness that define Grgich Hills’ white wines.
Chardonnay
A signature of the Grgich Hills legacy — elegant, beautifully balanced and structured, with the freshness and acidity that helped make Mike Grgich famous.
Merlot
Silky and approachable with ripe fruit, refined tannins and the structure expected from classic Napa Valley Merlot.
Zinfandel
Rich, expressive and full of character, with a special connection to Mike Grgich’s Croatian heritage and the history of Napa Valley.
Cabernet Sauvignon
The grand finale — powerful yet elegant, with layers of dark fruit, structured tannins and the depth and longevity that define great Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
