Greenway Gambol with Outdoor Murfreesboro

We’re teaming up with Outdoor Murfreesboro for an easy walk along the West Fork Stones River on the Murfreesboro Greenway. This 5.2 mile hike will take you across the river three times, as you spot spring wildflowers and a great blue heron rookery.

This activity is easy to moderate. The out and back route is 5.2 miles total. Hikers should wear appropriate clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear appropriate for walking. Please bring plenty of water!

Meet at the Barfield Crescent Park Trailhead of the Stones River Greenway, located at 697 Veterans Pkwy, Murfreesboro, TN 37128
