Greenville Spinners SCTAC Season Kickoff Ride(s) 2026

Join us for our season kick-off ride, an expo, and post-ride tailgating!

Pace groups for all levels will roll Saturday March 22nd at about 9am (after brief comments).

New to the area or the Greenville Spinners? Tuesday night rides at SCTAC are the biggest riding night in Greenville County! Weekly Tuesday night Greenville Spinners rides starting from SCTAC will begin on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:00 pm. These Tuesday night rides have 100-200 + riders on any given week. If this sounds a bit intimidating to you, you’re not alone. Tuesday night rides are super fun, a great way to improve your riding and meet new cyclists – so don’t be intimidated. Come on out! There's something for everyone - beginner to racer!

The Saturday, April 4th event is free to attend. If you want to purchase lunch and socialize after the ride, we will have PA' CHUY Tacos serving mexican food options starting at 11:00 am.

Most of you are aware of and follow these road-riding tips. However, it’s always good to be reminded of them and the cycling behavior expected on Greenville Spinners Rides.

• All riders must wear a cycling helmet
• Front and back lights are required
• No headphones or earbuds allowed
• Obey all traffic laws
• If you hear or see emergency vehicles approaching please stop and get off the road as quickly and safely as possible
• Always have emergency contact information on you
• You must stop at all stop signs or red lights
• Stay to the right side of the yellow line(s) at all times. Never cross the yellow line(s)
• Always ride no more than 2 abreast on the right side of the road
• Be respectful of each other. Aggressive attitudes are not welcome
• Call out and/or point out road hazards and traffic situations for others
• Car approaching from ahead = “Car Up!”
• Car approaching from behind = “Car Back!”
• Car passing group = “Car Passing!” or “Coming Around!”
• Point or call out potholes, bumps, sticks, glass, rocks/gravel/sand, roadkill, or other potential hazards
• Indicate turns or group slowing/stopping with appropriate hand signals

This event is weather permitting. Ride will be cancelled in case of rain or a storm.
