Greentown Grows Garden Work Event - June 27, 2026

Help us keep the garden flourishing! During this hands-on work event, volunteers will assist with weeding and general garden upkeep. Every task helps us grow fresh produce for the community. No gardening experience is required—everyone is welcome.

Please bring work gloves, water, and dress for the weather.
Unless it is storming or pouring rain, the event is on. If the event needs to be canceled, an email will be sent by 8 am.
To find the garden, go to the intersection of Metropolitan Ave. and York House Rd. in Waukegan. Turn off York House at the Waukegan BMX sign. The garden is located at the end of the parking lot in front of the BMX track. Please click here for a map.
