Join us for the third in our spring and summer walk programme along the Greensand Ridge Walk. 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of Bedfordshire's premier walking route, and to celebrate this we have a programme of walks along the Greensand Ridge from May to September. Distances vary from 3-9 miles per walk, and its a great way to discover the walk if you haven't walked it before, or a different way to enjoy it if you're familiar with the route. This walk will be a 7.75 mile guided walk. Meet/park at Ampthill Park and coach transport will be provided to the walk start point in Eversholt. We will begin walking in Eversholt, joining the Greensand Ridge Walk all the way to Ampthill Park where the cars are parked.
Parking available at Ampthill Park free of charge.
More information:
- Due to coach travel restrictions, dogs are not permitted.
- Unfortunately the route is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
- The walks will only be able to go ahead if enough tickets are sold to cover the cost of the transportation. Should we not sell sufficient tickets to cover the costs, we will have to cancel the event and tickets will be refunded.
- If the walks go ahead, tickets are only refundable if there is someone on the waiting list able to take your place.
- The walk will go through typical Greensand Country landscapes, hence toilets will be few and far between.
- Under 18s welcome if accompanied by an adult.
