About this Event

Join us for a two-day community greenhouse build and help create a space that will support sustainable agriculture, education, and community resilience for years to come.

This collaborative project brings together InnerSource Wellness Center (IWC), the University of Delaware Environmental Humanities Department, and the Mid Atlantic Black Farmers Caucus to build a 20ft x 48ft greenhouse that will expand opportunities for growing food, hands-on learning, and environmental stewardship.

Volunteers of all skill levels are invited to lend a hand. There will be opportunities to help with assembling the greenhouse, organizing materials, supporting the build team, and connecting with others who are passionate about sustainable food systems and community development.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle. Work gloves and any additional instructions will be provided prior to the event.

Come for a few hours or stay for the day, every helping hand makes a difference. Together, we're building more than a greenhouse; we're cultivating a stronger, healthier, and more sustainable community.
