❒ Segment Overview:
1. One Piece
A fast-paced solo event, similar to a Treasure Hunt, where participants will go from planet to planet (planets are a designated area, not actual planets) solving puzzles and decoding crypts in order to reach a final treasure, the One Piece.
2. Quantum Quiz
A solo event involving three rounds, each round being a written quiz that challenges participants on the most fundamental skills in science and technology, with many twists and turns.
3. Rocket Runners
A team-based relay-race event involving teams of four.
Each member will have a certain topic, and will have to answer questions based on that topic. Each member of the team will pass on their answers to the next member, who will have to use those answers to answer their own questions.
4. STEM Show
A team-based game-show event involving teams of four.
The first round involves a Jeopardy-style gameshow, while the second round involves a gameshow similar to family feud.
5. Algorithm Apocalypse
A solo event related to technology.
Participants from category “Lower Quartile” will be tested on their knowledge of computer systems, while participants from category “Median” and “Upper Quartile” will have to answer questions regarding algorithms and code.
6. Cosmic Canvas
A pre-submission solo event. Participants will submit wall magazines according to a certain topic that we will provide. Use your artistic prowess to express your interpretation of a unique topic pertaining to various elements of the night sky above us.
7. Extempore Eclipse
A solo event regarding extempore speeches. First round is a pre-submission event, while the second round will be in-person.
8. Star Summit
A solo event for Lower Quartile only, where there will be questions regarding space and the cosmos.
9. Beyond The Norm
This is a team event involving teams of 4. Participants will be shown a video about a niche topic, and afterwards will be tested on the topic of the video. Various powerups can also be used (further information in QR code doc.)
10. Chromefest (EXCLUSIVE)
A solo event. Participants for this will be selected by the respective schools. Geniuses from different schools will go head-to-head in a showdown of the prowess of their brightest in science and technology.
11. Chess Championship (EXCLUSIVE)
A solo event where selected participants from different schools will face each other in a FIDE-style chess competition.
