Through illustrated panels and interactive touchscreen kiosks, the exhibit brings to life the stories of ordinary people who lived through the dawn of a new nation and tells the history of the American Revolutionary War. Volunteers will be available every day to guide visitors and help anyone curious about whether they might have a Revolutionary War ancestor.
Come and join us in the Greene County Historic Courthouse Rotunda, Sunday March 8 at 2 p.m. for the opening ceremony. It will feature a Revolutionary War Color Guard in full period uniforms, a traditional Native American Grass Dance in full regalia, patriotic music from a brass ensemble and choir, and remarks from state and national leaders. It's free and open to the public.
The exhibit will be on display, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., March 9 through 17. Please come and relive American history!
