Help beautify our town!1. Green up Day is May 2nd this year. You are welcome to take part before that day. Participants are reminded to wear high visibility clothing, wear sturdy gloves with disposable gloves underneath, call the police or Highway department if you find drug paraphernalia such as needles and syringes. Do not pick up or handle these items.
2. Free bags will be available at the Transfer Station, Town Hall, and our Highway Garage.
3. Filled bags can be brought to the transfer station free of charge or can be left at the roadside for the Highway dept. to pick up. Please call the highway garage at 802-773-2528 x 4 and leave a message where bags have been left.
4. Suggested sites include Post Road from 7 to the school, East Pittsford Road, West Proctor Road, Killington Ave by the powerline crossing, Gleason Road from the church to Elbern Ave., and Quarterline Road/Boardman Hill area. Any other areas you feel important.
