GREEN TACOMA DAY & Explore and Restore: Session 2 Sprinker Rec Center/Bresemann Forest
In partnership with Green Tacoma Day(website not yet updated for 2026 as of 6/25/2026), please join us on guided forest walk combined with practical training in tree planting and maintenance. No experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands in the soil.
- 9am-12pm: Free tree giveaway with planting advice from local experts, and activities for kids. Choose from a variety of native trees and shrubs.
- 10am-11am: Educational nature walk in Bresemann Forest
- 11am-12pm: Community work party and tree planting demo
Location: Sprinker Rec Center, 521 Military Rd S, Tacoma, WA 98444. Meet in the parking lot near the climbing rock.
This event will take place rain or shine, please dress appropriately. Bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, appropriate shoes, etc. All ages welcome, kids must be accompanied by a guardian.
