Welcome back Green Line Quintet –Green Line is a five piece jazz + funk band based in Minneapolis. Aidan Firchow, Colin Fitzsimmons, Matt Healy, Nathan Klaers, and Trevor Loewe met at the University of Minnesota in a jazz combo under the direction of Phil Hey. Since then they have been writing music and playing around the Twin Cities in clubs, museums, backyards, and basements alike. Green Line plays a combination of original music and arrangements that bring a dynamic, funk sound to tunes rooted in and inspired by the jazz tradition.
