Starting this October, the Environmental Committee is excited to launch The Green Hour at the Clubhouse—a monthly speaker series featuring engaging environmental topics presented by local experts. This is a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about issues impacting our natural surroundings, all in a relaxed, social setting.
Each session will be held at our beautiful Country Club, complete with refreshments and scenic views of the golf course. It’s the perfect blend of education and community connection.
Our upcoming speaker on October 4th is Tom Twyford, Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Fishing Foundation, the charitable arm of the historic West Palm Beach Fishing Club. A North Palm Beach resident and passionate conservationist, Tom has spent the last 36 years leading environmental efforts in our area. He will be discussing Vertical Oyster Gardens (VOGs) and the important role they play in water filtration and habitat restoration.
