You can look forward to some delicious organic crunch at tomorrow's Saturday farmers' market in the Big Red Bergstrom Barn (9-12). Thanks to Farmer Alice @lowlandsfarmatx we'll have carrots! Alice, who we've been mentoring at our east austin AGRIcultural neighborHOOD this year, has done an excellent job. You'll need to get here early if you'd like to get one of her prized, pre-washed mixed lettuce salad bags, too. You'll also find organic tomatoes (the last of them) from our pals @The Refugee Collective.
Be sure to reserve your space in our annual wreathmaking classes (Nov. 22, Dec. 6) - they are sure to get you into a sustainable, creative and all-local holiday spirit. You'll learn how to make an entirely reusable/compostable wreath decorated with goodies grown on our farm. No experience necessary, all materials provided.
