It is in person with two sessions over a weekend- one on the Saturday 27th and one on the Sunday 28th January 2024.
We will plan our activities for 2024 together and our campaigns and where to put the Institutes resources and efforts.
Come and discuss and have your say - this is the third time we have run this event there with a strong social and team building element. It was great fun last time and everyone enjoyed -dont miss it !
Please click on the tickets so we get an idea of numbers.
We are unable to pay any costs except the meeting room hire and ask that anyone with the resources to do so please help towards the costs. Accommodation
May be available in Reading and once you have booked we can advise what is available locally. There are mainy hotels in Reading town centre near where the event is taking place. The best hotels to consider are:
The Crowne Plaza- where the event is taking place is easily the nicest location, best views over the river- big windows, lots of light, wildlife- birds swans to look at, most convenient but its prices vary enormously- so check what prices there are when you book.
The Easy Hotel Reading is much cheaper and very very near the hotel where the venue is taking place.
The Premier Inn Central next to the Oracle. Can we cheaper- is a 20 minute walk from the venue.
The Malmaison -Up market town centre hotel, expensive but fairly convenient opposite the central station
The Reading Penta Hotel- very central location- convenient large town centre hotel. Can be nice.
The Hilton -not brilliantly convenient but standard fare and expensive
Various Holiday Inns- not very near- good quality.
FYI . Please be careful with the website- booking.com as several people have had recent bad experiences with their booking system. Try to book directly with these hotels.
