We are happy to announce that Green Drinks is back since June 2024! Join us for Green Drinks, a fantastic opportunity to connect with individuals who share your passion for positively impacting the planet and the community. Let's collaborate to build a more sustainable future!
Green Drinks is a social networking event series where like-minded individuals gather every third Tuesday of the month to collaborate, learn, and promote environmental sustainability. Our event will occur on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Sidebar Key West, located at 504 Angela Street.
This event will last 90 minutes, with one hour dedicated to networking and 30 minutes for guest speakers to present on the month's topic. We follow a 12-step program, each monthly event focusing on a different subject. For November, our theme is R4: Rethink, Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle.
Our guest speakers will include:
1. Melody Tuschel, Recycling, and Outreach Coordinator with the Monroe County Solid Waste Management and a member of the Sustainability Advisory Board with the City of Key West.
2. Misha McRae, Executive Director at the Key West Botanical Garden Society
Event host: Sheetal Almas, Adaptation and Energy Coordinator with the City of Key West, Sustainability Office.
