Grammy-winning songwriter and Americana powerhouse Brandy Clark comes to the Brooks & Bates Theater on Saturday, May 30 for an intimate evening of songs and stories.Known for her razor-sharp songwriting, heartfelt storytelling, and acclaimed albums including 12 Stories and Brandy Clark, Clark has become one of the most respected voices in country and Americana music. She received a Grammy Award for “Dear Insecurity” with Brandi Carlile and has written songs recorded by artists including Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, The Band Perry, and Reba McEntire.
Opening the evening is acclaimed Texas songwriter Kelley Mickwee, whose soulful voice and roots-driven sound have made her a favorite among Americana audiences.
