Fall 2026 auditions will be held on Saturday, August 8th beginning at 9am. Due to the nature of our audition schedule, "walk-ins" will not be accepted.
For the audition:
- Please anticipate a 12-minute audition.
- You will need a prepared solo number, such as an art song, an opera aria, a musical theatre number, a hymn, or the National Anthem. Memorization is not required.
- A pianist will be provided at the audition, so please bring a copy of your chosen solo number, or, if you have a PDF or ForScore-compatible file, please email it to the Administrator at least 3 days prior to your audition.
- Please plan to audition with accompaniment; a cappella auditions are not encouraged.
- Please arrive “warmed up,” as we cannot guarantee the use of alternate spaces in Frasier for warm-up purposes.
- In addition to your prepared piece, you will be asked to sight-sing an unfamiliar hymn or traditional choral repertoire.
- You will be evaluated on the performance of your prepared piece, vocal quality, range, intonation, and sight-singing ability.
Concert and General Membership Information:
The Greeley Chorale presents 3 concerts during our season, typically in October, December, and April. Additionally, there 2 optional concerts in the "regular" rotation; 1 in early December (Poinsettia Pops with the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra), and 1 in late February (annual fundraising event). We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:15pm-9:30pm from late August through mid-April. Rehearsals are held on the UNC Campus in Frasier Hall Room 63.

Saturday, December 5 @ 7pm (holiday concert with the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra) - rehearsals begin Wednesday, October 14
Saturday, December 19 @ 4pm (regular concert) - rehearsals begin Wednesday, October 14
Saturday, February 20 @ 5:30pm (annual fundraising event) - rehearsals begin Wednesday, January 13
May 15 @ 7:30pm (regular concert) - rehearsals begin Wednesday, February 24
CONCERT TOUR of England & Wales June 1-11; optional, and travel details (including cost) will be shared upon acceptance
