Greek Wine Tasting
About this Event
Join us at Vichino’s for an evening exploring the distinctive and delicious wines of Greece, hosted by wine rep Tommy!
Greece has one of the oldest winemaking traditions in the world, but its wines can still feel like an undiscovered gem. This tasting is your chance to get acquainted with some of the country’s fascinating indigenous grape varieties and experience just how diverse Greek wine can be.
Our lineup will feature wines from Boutari Winery, one of Greece’s historic producers, as we taste our way from crisp, refreshing whites to bold, expressive reds.
🍷 Our featured lineup is expected to include:
Assyrtiko – Fresh, vibrant and mineral-driven, this is one of Greece’s most celebrated white grapes.
Moschofilero – An aromatic Greek variety known for its floral character, bright acidity and refreshing style.
Two Greek Red Blends – A chance to explore the richer side of Greek wine, including a Grand Reserve selection.
Agiorgitiko – One of Greece’s signature red grapes, known for its generous fruit, spice and smooth, approachable character.
Tommy will guide us through each wine, sharing the stories behind the grapes, regions and winemaking traditions that make Greece such an exciting wine country to explore.
As always, your tasting includes five wine pours paired with our Vichino’s pretzel charcuterie.
Whether you already love Greek wine or can barely pronounce Moschofilero and Agiorgitiko, this is the perfect night to try something different, learn a little, and discover a new favorite.
Lineup is subject to change based on availability.
