Flowers For Jayne, Sydney’s premier indie pop-punk-rock trio, are known for their powerful and razor-edge performances jammed with catchy power-pop creations from the pen of ex-Lime Spider and singer-guitarist, Jayne Murphy. She has a reputation for raucous rhythm and searing solos. With melodic lyrics and anthemic messages, you just can’t help but to sing along. Don’t miss Jayne and her seasoned rhythm section, bass player Marcel Chaloupka (Smith, Electric Pandas), and drummer Trevor Shaskey (Fifty Shades Of Lazy, NZ)) performing the best FFJ songs from Dangerous Woman (debut album) and In The Keep (EP), the commercially successful single "Evil Minds", and of course their latest single, "Greedy Rich Boys". This is the 9th and final show of their nine-date national tour.
Flowers For Jayne will share the stage with very special guests Kalatone and Transista Groove.
Hailing from South-East Queensland, KALATONE are a four-piece force built on a shared love of meaty riffs, propulsive drums, and soaring vocals. Fusing elements of post-grunge, progressive rock, and metal, the band carves out a sound that’s both raw and cinematic—ranging from ethereal soundscapes to relentless aural assaults. In a world of polished perfection and digital shortcuts. with roots in the 90s, Kalatone is fronted by powerhouse vocalist Tim Pitchford—a dynamic performer with comparisons to Chris Cornell—the lineup features guitarist Gavin Storkey, Adrian Russo on bass and Dave Kemp on drums, delivering the driving energy at the heart of their sound.
Transista Groove are a well traveled 3 piece band from Canberra with 2 original albums released thus far with another on the way. They play a mix of grunge, hard classic, progressive and psychedelic rock in their original content, with some funk traces filtering through it all. Stomp and dance, scream and shout rock show!
