Honoring 250 Years of American FreedomJoin us for the Greater Yamhill County U.S. Semiquincentennial Celebration on July 4, 2026, hosted by Greater Yamhill County VFW Post 4015 in Newberg, Oregon. This patriotic community event will unite residents, veterans, families, and visitors to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary—a milestone known as the Semiquincentennial, marking the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the birth of the United States of America.
A Tribute to Service, Sacrifice, and Freedom
The Semiquincentennial is not only a celebration of our founding—it honors the hard-fought war that secured our independence, the enduring sacrifices of service members who have defended that freedom for 250 years, and the unbreakable spirit of patriotism that continues to unite Americans today.
This day serves as a reminder of what our forefathers risked to establish a nation built on liberty and self-governance—and of those who have since stood ready to protect it.
