Ready to brave the waters for Special Olympics NorCal? Join the Greater Sacramento Polar Plunge, a fun dip, skip or jump into chilly waters for a great cause. The Bay Area Plunge will be held at Granite Bay Main Beach at Folsom Lake, Folsom on March 1, 2025.A global Special Olympics fundraising tradition, Polar Plunge proceeds support our free, year-round programs for people with intellectual disabilities.
Want to dash before you splash? There's an optional 5k trail run and a one-mile fun run/walk held in the morning before the Plunge, too.
