Join the Greater North Texas Orchid Society on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at North Haven Gardens in Dallas, Texas for an exciting presentation by expert orchid grower, Tom Mirenda titled "Tom's African Adventure." Tom is an accredited AOS Judge, writes monthly columns for Orchids magazine, leads the Orchid Garden Conservation Network, champions the Circa Situm Strategy across five continents, speaks routinely at numerous orchid societies, international events, and four World Orchid Conferences. He has procured, developed, and managed first-class orchid collections, including at the Smithsonian Gardens. Tom will share his month-long journey through Mauritius, Kenya, South Africa, and Gabon, where he judged for the Kenya Orchid Society and explored native southern African orchids.
