An open meeting to get to know housing co-operatives in Greater Manchester and begin a network together. Bring ideas and inspiration!
About this Event

This is the second network meeting for housing co-operatives, organised by The Sparrows Nest Housing Co-op with support from Greater Manchester Community Led Homes and Manchester Social Economy Alliance.

Last event we discussed issues facing housing co-ops, both indivdually and as wider structural issues. We also had a great time meeting people across Manchester also working in housing co-ops.

This time, we want to do more of the same! Start some conversations, talk about co-op specific issues with people who understand, and come up with solutions together as a group.

Catering will be provided by Eighth Day, and will be vegan. Please tell us if there are any allergens.

Agenda for the day:

• Intros/Updates
• Any announcements/advertisements to share with the network
• Quick review of possible actions we discussed at the previous session
• Break out into groups to talk about action days - each group should try to settle one one event/action day to propose to the group
• Feedback and group discussion to choose one of the proposals to plan
• Action day planning. What/where is the event. What roles will need to be considered (catering/managing etc)
  

Workshop/discussion to put together an agenda for next session, establish a bit of a direction for the network and identify hosts and possible dates.
