Great Wagon Road Poker Run

Join us for an exciting driving adventure along the historic Great Wagon Road as part of the Lincoln Highway Association experience. Participants will travel to multiple designated stops, collecting playing cards along the way to build their best poker hand. The journey combines history, exploration, and friendly competition as you move through communities connected by America’s early travel routes.

Whether you’re ending your time at the Lincoln Highway Association Conference or simply joining in for fun, this Poker Run offers a unique way to experience the region, support local destinations, and connect with fellow travelers.

The event is hosted in partnership with the Lincoln Highway Association National Conference, the J. William Warehime Foundation, Main Street Hanover, and Explore York.

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Poker Run Event

• Participants travel to designated stops, collect playing cards, and build their best poker hand throughout the day.
• The goal is to arrive at the final stop with the strongest hand for a chance to win prizes.

Please Note: This is a go-at-your-own-pace, self-guided driving tour designed for flexibility and enjoyment. Participants are encouraged to take their time exploring each stop, enjoy the scenic routes along the way, and make the most of the experience by visiting and supporting local businesses and attractions throughout the journey.

• Visit Tom Davidson at the information table in the lobby for printed materials
• After 10:00 AM, printed materials will no longer be available at this location
• Participants must download or print materials from the Main Street Hanover website at MainStreetHanover.org/events after this time

• This is the final opportunity to improve your hand before the finish line

• Final meetup location
• Participants turn in their poker hands for judging
• Tom Davidson & Mindy Crawford will be on site to welcome participants and distribute prizes
• See if your poker hand beats everyone else’s
