It's almost time for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census!
Free Event! Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 22, 2026 and get ready to help protect the pollinators that keep our ecosystems (and our gardens) thriving. All it takes is 15 minutes. Pick a blooming plant, right here at UNF Butterfly Gardens. Meet at the UNF Student Union by 9:45 am. Presentation begins at 10:00 am.
Event Highlights

· Seminar topic: pollinator ID, bees, birds, and butterflies
· Learn to identify local pollinators before heading to the garden for our 15-minute count

Here's how it works: Count pollinators for 15 minutes. Record what you see on the official count sheet Make an impact! Parking: Garage 38 and Student Union Lot
Directions from I295:
Take exit 52 and head east. Pass through the first traffic signal at Eco Road and UNF Drive. Follow the loop and just after the Student Union, turn right into Parking garage 38. Follow sign to meeting location. No Fee to park on weekends. There are also several ADA parking spaces at the Student Union, Parking Lot 4.
