Great Salt Water: The Chesapeake Bay Suite Concert

Great Salt Water from the Algonquian name for the Bay—is a five-movement suite that paints a musical portrait of the region across time, from its ancient beginnings to the world we know today. Featuring violin, mandolin, double bass, and steel- and nylon-string guitars, the ensemble blends lyrical melodies, folk and Celtic-tinged textures, and moments of inspired improvisation.
