Announcing North Star's 3rd Annual Duck Race "Great Rubber Duck Splash" happening July 27th at the The Falls Aquatic Center in Cedar Falls from 9-11 a.m. (the ducks race at 10:00 am)What is a Duck Race? It is a fundraiser for North Star. You adopt (buy) rubber ducks for $5 to be part of a race. On race day your adopted duck(s) are launched into the water at The Falls, with about 4,999 other ducks, and they "swim" to the finish line. First prize is $1,000!!
There will be some fun Duckling (Kid) activities like balloon art and face-painting, you can swim and there will food trucks - taco's anyone?
