Day One featuring the J Swap Great New Zealand Hurdle | Friday, 19 September
The curtain rises on Day One with the prestigious J Swap Great New Zealand Hurdle – a true test of stamina and agility that sets the tone for the weekend. Join racegoers from across the country as the hills of Te Aroha echo with the thunder of hooves and the cheer of the crowd.
General admission is free for all and we'd love to see you all oncourse taking in the spectacle. Plus, we've got a special guest in renowned race caller, Rick McIntosh, joining us from Australia.
