Join us for a Great Lakes Now weekend - always the last weekend of the month!
On Saturday, March 29th and Sunday, March 30th you can catch “Killer Trees and Sacred Waters” in the theater at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center.
In this episode of Great Lakes Now, learn how trees are fighting back against the emerald ash borer and what goes into restoring a sacred lake after generations of pollution.
The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. The last weekend of every month will be a "Great Lakes Now weekend" where we show the latest episode from our partners at Great Lakes Now and Detroit PBS.
This is a free event open to all.
The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center serves as the visitor center for Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and a museum. There is no admission, and you could plan to explore as well as catch the latest episode of Great Lakes Now!
