A precursor to our Owl Prowl event, join us in seeing a live owl up close and personal! Staff from the Draper Natural History Museum, located all the way in Cody, Wyoming, will be bringing one of their rescued owls to the Montana Audubon Center! Learn all about the biology and ecology behind these fascinating creatures, as well as what makes them so special in the animal kingdom. Wanting to see owls in the wild? Join us after this for our Owl Prowl on March 15th!The Draper Natural History Museum in Cody, Wyoming, is one of the five museums of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming. This museum dives deep into the diverse plant and animal species of the Greater Yellowstone area. The Draper is a favorite among kids and families, so bring the whole group on your Yellowstone vacation and explore here either before or after your trip to the park. In the Draper, see how bears, elk, wolves, and other wildlife survive and thrive in our backyard—and how our humans presence in the mix also affects the ecosystem.
Advanced registration is required. General admission is $10 per participant, and $8 for Montana Audubon Center members.
