Great Eggcase & Scavenger Hunt with Beach Art - Westbrook Bay, Margate

Join the scavenger hunt looking for clues of our marine life along the shore, and look out for shark and ray egg cases, on this activity that includes sand/beach art at the end!

Please note: You will need to wear suitable footwear and clothing for the beach, sand art and the weather conditions on the day.

All equipment is provided by the Thanet Coast Project (although you are welcome to bring your own spades!)

These events are suitable for families and especially children aged 4-11, Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout. Please register and book the number of 'adults & children' in your group (you will have to do another booking for a group of over 4 in total)

BOOKING: EACH TICKET is a FAMILY or GROUP for up to 4 people (please get a second booking fwhen booking over 4 in a group, and for more participants!)

Donations welcome: Please help contribute to the 'not-for-profit' Thanet Coast Project. Suggested: £2.50 per adult/child present.

Tue 7 April, 11am - Westbrook Bay, Margate Main Sands (CT9 5DW)

The event lasts 1.5 hours.

Meet: On the Lower Promenade or Beach - in front of the Westbrook Pavilion - to sign in before the start.

Toilets: There are public toilets on the lower promenade, Westbrook (and near the Nayland Rock Shelter, in Margate)

Parking : Free oparking is available along the Royal Esplanade, above the bay (or within the payable Barnes Car Park).

Train: Margate Station is approx.10 minute walk away.

Bus: The Loop - Cecil Sq is about 20 minute walk away; with other local buses closeby.
