Great Eggcase & Scavenger Hunt with Beach Art - Viking Bay, Broadstairs

Join the hunt looking for clues of our marine life along the shore, and look out for shark and ray egg cases, on this activity that includes sand/beach art at the end!

Please note: You will need to wear suitable footwear and clothing for the beach, sand art and the weather conditions on the day.

All equipment is provided by the Thanet Coast Project - although you are welcome to bring your own spades! This event is run with the help of volunteer Coastal Wardens.

Donation Booking: These events are great for families or groups with children aged 4 to 11. Just a heads up: grown-ups need to stick around with their children. Please book one ticket for your family/group, which covers up to 4 children.

Donations are really appreciated! We suggest a £2.50 donation per child. You can donate for up to 4 children on one ticket, and your support goes directly to the Thanet Coast Project's not-for-profit efforts. If you have more than 4 children, no worries, just book another ticket!

Meet: On Broadstairs Harbour - near The Boathouse (opp. Tartar Frigate PH) Toilets: There are public toilets in the harbour, opposite the Tartar Frigate. Parking : A payable car park is situated on Broadstairs harbour. Train: 12min walk away (Broadstairs). Bus: The Loop - 8min walk from Queen's Road. Cycling: On the Viking Coastal Cycle Trail.
