♻️ Great American Cleanup returns May 2 ➡️ Allen residents, get ready to clear out the clutter. The Great American Cleanup offers a convenient, one-stop drop-off for recycling and donations.
✅ Event details:

8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Allen Municipal Service Center (900 S. Greenville Avenue)
✏️ What to bring for entry:
• Current City of Allen utility bill (placed on your windshield)
• Driver’s license with a matching address
📦 Bring items like household goods, clothing, electronics, bikes and old medications for safe and responsible disposal or donation.
💡 Good to know:
• Paper shredding available (limit 5 boxes or bags)
• Anonymous medication drop-off (including sharps)
• Clean, flattened cardboard accepted
• Please remove all personal data from electronics before drop-off
🌧️ Weather note: The event will continue in the rain but may pause during thunder or lightning.
❌ Some items are not accepted, including bulk trash, tires, chemicals and home improvement debris.
